Adriana and Georgi are certified adjudicators and licentiate members of U.S. Terpsichore in Ballroom, Latin, Smooth, and Rhythm, members of NDCA (The National Dance Council of America), professional teachers, choreographers, and former competitors with more than 30 years of ballroom dance experience.
They began dancing together in Bulgaria in 2002, and their partnership blossomed into a marriage and family. In 2005, after winning the National Bulgarian Cup for the second time and becoming Amateur Champions, Adriana and Georgi turned professional and have been successfully dancing, performing and competing worldwide, from Bulgaria, to Russia, Georgia, the United Kingdom and the United States. In 2005 they decided to move to the US to continue their dancing career as well as their dance teaching careers.
Adriana and Georgi have trained with world-renowned dancers and teachers. Their dance education also includes professional “Dance Sport Teacher” degrees from the Bulgarian National Sports Academy where they studied Ballroom and Latin dance, sports psychology, anatomy and kinesitherapy. Before they moved to the US Adriana and Georgi ran their own ballroom dance studio teaching classes for adults as well as for children. Adriana and Georgi also use their ballet and jazz training to enhance their dancing expertise.
Both are multi-lingual — Adriana speaks Bulgarian, Russian, English and Greek, and Georgi speaks Bulgarian, Russian and English. They are certified dance teachers, and members of the National Dance Council of America. Adriana and Georgi are continuing to develop their dancing skills as well as their teaching, with one mission – to continue to bring excellence to everything they do and to enrich the lives of other people through dance
