About The Owners
Adriana and Georgi are Certified National Adjudicators, Professional Teachers and Choreographers and Former Competitors with more than 30 years of ballroom dance experience.
They began dancing together in Bulgaria in 2002, and their partnership blossomed into a marriage and family. In 2005, after winning the National Bulgarian Cup for the second time and becoming Amateur Champions, Adriana and Georgi turned professional and have been successfully dancing, performing and competing worldwide, from Bulgaria, to Russia, Georgia, the United Kingdom and the United States. In 2005 they decided to move to the US to continue their dancing career as well as their dance teaching careers.
Adriana and Georgi have trained with world-renowned dancers and teachers. Their dance education also includes professional “Dance Sport Teacher” degrees from the Bulgarian National Sports Academy where they studied Ballroom and Latin dance, sports psychology, anatomy and kinesitherapy. Before they moved to the US Adriana and Georgi ran their own ballroom dance studio teaching classes for adults as well as for children. Adriana and Georgi also use their ballet and jazz training to enhance their dancing expertise. Both are multi-lingual -- Adriana speaks Bulgarian, Russian, English and Greek, and Georgi speaks Bulgarian, Russian and English.
They are certified dance teachers, and members of the National Dance Council of America. Adriana and Georgi are continuing to develop their dancing skills as well as their teaching, with one mission – to continue to bring excellence to everything they do and to enrich the lives of other people through dance.
Georgi Kanev
Georgi started dancing when he was seven years old. He now has more than 35 years of ballroom dance experience. With his fun personality and excellent teaching skills, Georgi succeeds in making his students fall in love with dancing, which becomes an important part of their lives.
On a personal level, Georgi loves Jesus, reads His Bible, and delights in the fellowship of his Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church. In his spare time, he utilizes his other talents – drawing and graphic design – to create beautiful art and logos, often volunteering his skills to notable causes.

Adriana has over 20 years of dance experience. Her extreme will power, combined with her love and dedication to the dance art form make her a real winner as professional dancer, competitor, choreographer and teacher. Adriana’s resume...
consists of numerous dance sport competitions across Europe and the U.S., many awards, two championship titles, and participation in award-winning showcases, music videos, and gala performances. She has also choreographed showcases for children and adults alike, as well as for show productions. Based on her dancing achievements and her solid reputation, she has been given the privilege of judging dance competitions and holding Master Classes.
Adriana is cheerful and patient with a multi-faceted teaching style. Whether her students attend classes for fun, exercise, technique or competition preparation, she has the ability to make them happy and confident about the end result. She is a well rounded instructor, who teaches different styles of dancing effectively, incorporating her musicality when developing student showcases or concentrating on proper technique.
Adriana holds a Master Engineering degree, she designs beautiful dance costumes, and creates stunning hair styles and make-up looks for special occasions.
